Our extensive experience and variety of modern blasting equipment help our crews whether we are blasting logging roads, quarries, or highly sophisticated urban controlled blasts. We have the capability of using hydraulic breakers on our larger excavators, as well as hand gun drilling on the smaller jobs. Our fleet of pneumatic drills and hydraulic drills does the bulk of the drilling for our blasting crews.

RocTech can mobilize to a variety of locations include hard to access and remote sites for drilling and blasting operations. We deploy seismographs and effective pre-blasting surveys to ensure the safety and comfort of local communities and structures through vibration monitoring. SLOPE STABALIZATION

Rock bolting, mesh systems and shotcrete applications are critical parts of West Coast project safety operations. Roc-Tech provides expert implementation and support for all slope stabilization requirements. We have extensive experience with large scale civil and industrial projects including a variety of slope and safety requirements. Our slope stabilization crews are skilled and experienced at identifying risks and their solutions. We specialize in rock anchor and mesh system installation in difficult locations and environments. RocTech deploys fall arrest, fall protection and rescue certified crews that are skilled at climbing for scaling operations.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING

Environmentally sensitive and geotechnical drilling are important parts of modern projects. Our crews are trained to operate and maintain drills with specialty oil and fluids to minimize impact on the local environment. In addition, our drills have modern dust catchment systems to ensure the air quality on job sites and locations is preserved. We offer rock coring and borehole drilling as test services as well as drilling for blasting, exploration and stabilization system installation. RocTech drilling crews are experienced and focused on efficient, quality production with an emphasis on safety. Our drill fleet is supported by our full-time in house mechanics to maximize uptime and production on your project, and we are equipped with heavy trailers to deliver them to you.

The RocTech Contracting (2011) Ltd. fleet of modern drills include the ECM590 and ECM690. We operate with a large variety of specialized drilling equipment and consumables to ensure we can meet the needs of every project.

Hoe Drill

In addition to our crawler drill fleet, RocTech Contracting (2011) Ltd. can mobilize Hoe Drills for larger and difficult projects. With a larger reach and depth, our Hoe Drills are suited for speciality operations where heavier machinery is needed.

Rock Breakers

RocTech Contracting (2011) Ltd. can provide rock breaking with efficiency and safety with our Volvo 210 based rock breaker. Ideal for bigger jobs, the Volvo can process large amounts of rock quickly in difficult to access areas and sites.
